IM@S GAME SHOW 2016 announcements


Today, Imai Asami, Hara Yumi, Ohashi Ayaka, Fukuhara Ayaka, Hara Sayuri and GamiP appeared on stage for the IM@S GAME SHOW 2016 stage of the Tokyo Game Show. In a heated janken battle, Mingosu managed to beat Fuurin for the right to play the PSVR game.

Oh yeah and here’s a roundup of the announcements during today’s TGS event:


The third volume of the Platinum Stars catalogue was announced, and you can start downloading it from 5 October 2016. It features a new song titled ‘Amaterasu’, and a new Japanese-styled outfit named 月読華舞和装 (Tsukuyomi no Kamuwasou) in addition to Kyun! Vampire Girl and Meisou Mind. A new DL live will also start on 20 September 2016.

In PSVR news, The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls Viewing Revolution will feature a new song titled ‘Yes! Party Time’ and a new outfit called Party Time Gold. It’s going to be a digital download, and it will be released on 13 October 2016 at ¥2,296 + tax. You can get a virtual wrist band if you preorder it between 13 September to 12 October. In addition, if you purchase the game before 30 November, you’ll be able to download a PS4 theme featuring Yes! Party Time as the BGM.

Lastly, the first overseas solo The IDOLM@STER was announced!
