Things to work on[edit]

Some things I think we should be doing. In no particular order.

• Live & Songs
  • Song info pages
  • Stuff like note breakdown (number of notes at each position) might be useful
• Idols
  • Character info
  • Card info
    • Likely going with a cgdex-like layout where all cards for one character are on the same page
• Commus
  • Unlock conditions for commus
  • Translating the scripts
• Mechanics
  • Basic how-to-play details. Potentially a translation of key aspects of the tutorial
    • Especially, explain Flick and slide notes
  • Star Rank Kind of done. Could possibly use more expansion.
  • Lesson/Tokkun/Star Lesson
  • PRP
  • Producer Rank
• Room
  • Furniture list
    • Including furniture effects
    • Upgrades
    • Upgrade condition
• Events
  • The basic information is up, but it could do with some spit and polish. We potentially need to restructure it slightly to work around the fact that we have the commu script for the event now too, but that's for later I guess
• Menu translations?
  • Someone else has done a decent job of this already but perhaps we should consolidate information

I guess note position breakdown is not the matter as the attribute bonus is calculated before the show. (Tricks to pass either using one-hand or two-hand play i guess? Like Never say never is based on luck from sliding notes and something...)

Well, what i'm still doing right now is how to get the base score for every song and difficulty. Because the base score itself is somewhat still a value returned from a formula that based of unknowness that might be affected by number of notes and song level. --167.205.22.106 01:38, 21 October 2015 (EDT)

Memorial/Episode scripts[edit]

I'm not sure where to put this, but I've uploaded the rest of the (JA) scripts here: https://starlight.kirara.ca/story_list . They are pre-formatted so you just have to copy paste it in to get the nice table look. (Don't let the length fool you; I think most memorials aren't in the game yet but they still exist in the index, so you will get a lot of 404s.) 216.232.156.178 00:10, 22 October 2015 (EDT)

The page is empty now. I was hoping to use it to dump the rest of the scripts up to now, so this is very concerning. Is there a way to put the page back up? If not, is there a way for me to access the information so that I can dump them? Arcorann (talk) 10:43, 16 April 2016 (EDT)

Southrop is the main guy and he's been distracted with a lot of stuff lately. I don't know who else is working on it now that we don't actively post the translations. --Omo (talk) 14:16, 22 January 2016 (EST)

I'm kind of still around, but I've quit playing after I got burnt out playing too many games. I would like to see the wiki continue to grow, and I will do what I can to support it, but I won't be able to contribute much in terms of content or translation. --Southrop (talk) 13:48, 5 February 2016 (EST)

It's perhaps worth noting that one of my biggest demotivators was the existence of this fantastic site: https://starlight.kirara.ca It basically handles all the card data, including skills and lines, all pulled from the game files. The only thing we had that it doesn't is news translations, event/gameplay information and translations for commus. I considered deleting all the idol information and leaving only commu scripts up, but ended up doing nothing. --Southrop (talk) 13:54, 5 February 2016 (EST)
