Star Rank
Star Rank is a stat for each idol card that affects the amount of money and the chance of receiving rare items as rewards from Lives. Only the Star Rank of your Centre Idol has any effect when doing a Live. You can raise the Star Rank of your Idols by doing Star Lessons which involve using identical idols of the same origin.

Doing Star Lessons will raise Star Rank. When your Star Rank is high, you will be able to gain an increased amount of money from LIVEs. There will also be an increased chance of recieving rare rewards. | Only the center idol in a unit is able to use Star Rank as an effect. | Star Lessons can only be done between idols of the same origin. |
As of 2018-07-19, some additional effects have been added to increased Star Rank idols. In particular:
- Idols can now appear multiple times in the player's support team, up to the idol's Star Rank (minus one if the idol is part of the main team).
- SSR idols will gain 100 000 fans for each card used in a Star Lesson.
As of 2018-09-18 it is now possible to purchase Star Rank Trainer Tickets using Platinum Medals, which can be used in Star Lessons to increase Star Rank. Note that using a Star Rank Trainer Ticket in a Star Lesson will not give any fans.
As of 2020-04-28, the effects of having high Star Rank have been improved significantly. The money multipliers have been boosted and high star rank centres now has the chance to increase the number of drops further, in addition to a much higher chance of rare drops.

The Money Multiplier was improved for Star Rank 11 and above idols beginning 2018-07-19.
The entire table was overhauled beginning 2020-04-28. A drop rate of (100 + x)% is to be interpreted as one guaranteed drop plus a rate of x%.
