What is Rerolling

Rerolling is the repetitive act of reinstalling the app to use the 250 Star Jewels complementarily given at the start of the game (As part of the 5 day beginner bonus) in order to pull a desired card.

Note: Rerolling is refered to as Reset Marathon in the Japanese Deresute Community

How to Reroll

Estimated Time Required: 7-15min per reroll

Rerolling on an unrooted phone

• Install the game
• Start the game and rush through the tutorial
  • Skip all dialogue sections, the Local Audition animation, offset adjustment, and all LIVEs
  • Do not worry about choosing a name, you can change it later
• Receive the 250 Star Jewels from your Present Box
• On the Gacha Panel, do a single pull on Premium Scouting
  • If successful in getting a desired card, continue the game as normal
  • If not, repeat the process:
    • Android: Settings → APPS → デレステ → Clear data → Return to Home Page → click デレステ app to restart (it is not necessary to uninstall the app)
    • iOS: Delete and reinstall the app (or use third-party tools to clear data?)

Rerolling on a rooted phone or emulator (Android)

The information in this section is outdated and the method does not appear to work anymore.

Due to the extended file access available on rooted phones, it is possible to hold numerous accounts and switch back and forth between them without binding to a Bandai Namco ID (BNID). This will allow the user to essentially keep numerous accounts. One may also decide to run an Android Emulator on their computer instead of using their personal cell phone, as emulators are generally pre-rooted.

It should be noted that updates may disrupt this process, thus after rerolling various accounts, it is highly advised to select your favorite and immediately bind it through the BNID process.

Note: You will need a Root File Manager (such as Root Browser) installed on your phone or emulator.

• Install the game
• Install a Root File Manager (if you haven't already)
• Start the game and rush through the tutorial
  • Skip all dialogue sections, the Local Audition animation, offset adjustment, and all LIVEs
  • Do not worry about choosing a name, you can change it later
• Receive the 250 Star Jewels from your Present Box
• On the Gacha Panel, do a single pull on Premium Scouting
  • If successful in getting a desired card, bind the account through the BNID process and transfer the account to your personal phone if necessary
  • If not, open your Root File Manager and go to /data/data/jp.co.bandainamcoent.BNEI0242/shared_prefs
    • You may choose to either
      1. Rename jp.co.bandainamcoent.BNEI0242.xml to something else (eg. thisisrenamedjp.co.bandainamcoent.BNEI0242.xml) in order to access it later by simply reverting the name back
      2. Delete jp.co.bandainamcoent.BNEI0242.xml if you decide it's not worth keeping
    • Head back to your home screen and repeat the process of starting the game and rushing through the tutorial
