Lessons

Lessons are done to raise the level of an idol. By partnering other idols to a selected idol, it is possible to raise the level and special skill of that idol. You can choose to partner up 20 idols at a time, in which those selected will be gone after doing the lesson. Special skill level can be raised by using Rare Idols (and above) or Veteran Trainer Tickets (and above). Any idol that is locked or currently in a unit will be blocked from use till those restrictions have been lifted. A matching of attribute (cute, cool, passion) will increase experience gained by 20% while a "Big Success" will yield a 50% increase in experience. There is no money fee in doing lessons.

Experience gained per card is as follows (as of 13 April 2017)

Special Skill Success Rate

The formula for the skill-up chance any given card gives (as of 21 June 2017) is: 

Skill up % = ceiling( ( Base percentage × (Skill level of "partner" card + 1) / (Skill level of base card + 1) ) × Same type multiplier )

The same type multiplier (introduced 28 July 2016) is 1.2 if the idols are the same attribute (Cu/Co/Pa) and 1 otherwise. Trainer tickets are always considered skill level 1.

The skill-up chances of multiple cards are additive and max out at 100%. You can only feed a maximum of 20 cards, or 20 trainer tickets at a time. You cannot mix Trainer tickets and regular cards.

Special Training

Special training converts an idol from their original form to their + form, giving an overall stat increase and an increase to their maximum level. In addition, the card's Episode Commu will be unlocked.

Special training can be performed when the card's affection is maxed out. All of the idol's levels will be retained when special training is performed.
