One of the many ways used by the massive media mix franchise that is The iDOLM@STER to announce news is through the use of radio shows with the voice actresses as their personalities. Started with the iDOLM@STER Radio with Imai Asami and Takahashi Chiaki as the personalities in the year 2006, the radio side of this behemoth hasn’t stopped growing. With 5 weekly radios covering the three different franchises (765 Pro, Cinderella Girls & Million Live) and a monthly radio focusing on the crane game and Ichiban Kuji, following the radios is a great way to get up to date with The iDOLM@STER.

News 2015/2/24 – Star!! comes in at fourth place

Cinderella Girls anime OP single comes in fourth place on the Oricon weekly singles charts at 47k copies. Totally not because you can enter into events or any thing RIGHT.

We’re doing well with the flower thing for Aisute, collecting roughly two thirds of the total already. Thanks for all your help.

HPT will run an offkai, and probably an even more baller after-party to the offkai, at Anime North. Details are still being hammered out but pretty soon we will begin taking at least a head count so we can plan for the right party size. Meanwhile you can fill out some surveys to mill away some of that excess excitement Asapon North brings.

Asapon North is a thing, and other news

A bit of a news roundup…

Anime North announced Shimoda Asami (CV: Ami/Mami) as a guest this year. This is the third Arts Vision IM@S connection that Anime North has made. It should also excite all the Vocaloid people, right? Now is the best time to fill out our survey if you are going to Anime North.

Flowers for THE IDOLM@STER STATION is taking your donations.

This past weekend there was a lot of Cinderella Girls promo, with many of the core 14 CVs making local visits across Japan, and a special event that went with the release. Here’s such a report. More importantly they announced an event on 3/29 at Sun Plaza (which was also depicted in the CG anime 2 episodes ago).

A flower wreath for THE IDOLM@STER STATION

[Donation is closed! Thank you for all the support!]

Hello this is Omo, here with a simple message.

We’re doing a flower wreath for the Aisute event next week. Do you want in? You don’t really get anything besides the personal satisfaction of being a part of something like this, since we are doing this one on the down low. The details about the flowers are here, sorta. Your name won’t be displayed with the flower, just the “Houkago P Time” moniker. So if you aren’t a part of HPT, I’d recommend you wait until the next time we arrange something unless you really don’t care about stuff like that.

If you want in, send any amount of money to me or use the Paypal button below (which charges a fee). If you don’t know how much to donate, anywhere between $5-40 USD is a good amount.

If we go over the expected cost (~30000 yen) the extra money will roll into our next flower wreath. I am not sure which one that’ll be, but we’ll definitely do one for 10th Anniversary Live.

A note on Anime North

Producers in North America may know about Anime North, which is one of the largest anime conventions in the US and Canada. Located in Toronto and held on US’s Memorial Day Weekend each year, the con hosted two 765PRO ALLSTAR character voice guests in the past two years. Nakamura Eriko (CV: Haruka) was a Guest of Honor in 2013, and Hara Yumi (CV: Takane) was a Guest of Honor in 2014.
